RULES OF RUNNING ON SUNSHINE

welcome

[/color][/b] to running on sunshine. we're so happy that you're interested in joining our little family. first things first, we have some rules and regulations that we need you to familiarize yourself with before joining us here.

seventeen and up[/color][/b] we do require our characters to be atleast seventeen years old here. this means that we'll allow high school seniors, but no other grades in high school.

realistically aged[/color][/b] you must keep your character within four years of the character's celebrity face claim. this is a rule that will be strongly enforced. for example, ian somerhalder is thirty-four years in real life. although he plays a much younger character on tv, we won't accept him as anything younger than thirty years old. we will make some exceptions to this rule, just please don't abuse the exceptions. if you feel that your character should be younger than the four year rule, or even older, message a staff member with your situation, and we will all discuss it and if we all agree, we'd be happy to let you be an exception to the rule. you must get admin approval, though.

rapid fire[/color][/b] at the moment, we don't have any word count requirement here at running on sunshine. this does mean that we're considering ourselves as a rapid-fire roleplaying site. we feel that rapid fire makes it easier for plots to progress. if we see anyone abusing this rule by only posting one-hundred words in every post, we'll enforce a minimum word count.

activity[/color][/b] to keep a site running smoothly, we depend on our lovely members to keep up on the activity. please sign in to all of your accounts every day. any accounts that have not been signed in in the past seven days will be deemed inactive. if the inactive account remains inactive for another seven days, it'll be deleted.

life-altering decisions[/color][/b] the staff members need to be kept in the loop when it comes to what our characters are doing. so if you plan on making a big life decision for your character, just run it by a staff member before going through with it. these would be anything life-altering such as a big accident, pregnancy, marriage, etc.

graphics[/color][/b] while we have no size set for signatures, we do ask that your icons be no bigger than 150x300. if we find any that seem to be stretching the board, we will either ask you to change your icon or remove it. after all, we like to keep things tidy.

respect[/color][/b] this site will become a little family, so we expect everyone to be respected. if there's any drama, we hope that it can be resolved privately so that it doesn't disturb our family.

have fun[/color][/b] this is the most important rule of all. roleplaying is supposed to be a fun hobby to pass time, so don't let it stress you out. happy roleplaying, my darlings.
